Wallpaper and paint, both add on to the elegance of a room. But you will have to make your decision carefully. Painted walls do not need much maintenance. Any stain or marks on the painted walls can be washed. If marks can not be removed due to washing then they can just be re painted over. Paints do have a tendency to get chipped, but these issues can also be solved by repainting. Paints are much more durable than wallpapers and can be exposed to extremes of climate for a longer time.

However wallpapers have other benefits. Wallpaper adds on to the style and elegance of the rooms. Since they come in innumerable styles and designs you can choose from a very wide variety. Once a wall is done up with wallpapers you can be assured they do not need to be done for the next ten years. Paints have to be redone every two years. Wallpapers also can cover up flaws like irregular surfaces etc. So take your pick wisely.
