If you have a toddler in the house, then your home décor is decided mainly by that fact. The following tips can help you to decorate your home:

• Pay attention to the safety of the toddler first. As they have a curious mind and try to touch and take everything, you must make sure that none of your crystal or glass decorative pieces are at a level where the toddler can reach.

• Instead of having a glass centre table or glass ashtray, try some heavy metals that the toddler can’t move or break. Even your floor decorative items, use some heavy metals.

• Keep all the decorative items at a higher elevation so that the child can’t reach them. You can place your delicate china and crystal on the higher shelves or mantles. Thus you can display your decorative pieces without destroying them.

• You can use your toddler’s art as a painting. For this take anything that your child has scribbled or painted and professionally frame it. This will act as a painting on the wall and you will feel proud at your little genius.
