Home improvement for an expectant couple

Home Improvement, Home NurseryHome improvement is great hard work for an expectant couple. It should be remodeled to make it safer for the child to roam around freely once it starts crawling.

Firstly, make sure all the electric outlets are covered and made child proof. Old furniture like bookcase or dressing tables can be done away with and sleeker ones mounted on the walls so that baby wont stumble upon. Remove lead paint from the walls if any, and also test the water for presence of any harmful element.

Baby proof your windows by putting window locks for your child’s safety. Replace all existing knobs with rounded traditional ones that kids cannot handle. Also remember to install child safety locks on kitchen or cabinet doors so that the child is unable to enter hazardous zones. Besides, it is important to fix any aberration on the tiles, floor coverings and edges near the ground to prevent injury. Installing baby monitors helps keep a track of the baby.
