Shelf liners are a good way of protecting utensils from hard surfaces and at the same time make the shelf attractive and neat. They are made of different material s and are placed flat on the shelf using adhesive or friction.
To place shelf lining, empty the shelf, clean it and eliminate residue of cleaning agents by using ammonia or alcohol. Measure all shelves to determine the size of the lining needed. Prepare the lining by cutting it to size on a flat surface; it should be a bit longer than the shelf to be lined to accommodate any irregularities in the shelf. For self adhesive liners, remove the backing and fit it carefully in the shelf while pressing down to ensure it sticks on the surface and for the non adhesive, place it in the shelf ensuring it fits snugly without any gaps. Repeat the process for every shelf and then replace the utensils.

Nobody can comfortably sleep on bumpy or lumpy mattresses no matter how sleepy they are. There are a number of materials that can be used to get rid of the bumps and lumps.
One of them is fleece. It is warm and cozy and does not come out thus does not require hemming. Two or more layers of fleece are placed together according to the size of the bed and the perimeter is sewn and its good to go. Other material s can be used but they require hemming and may even be quilted to give them an attractive look. The tip for quilting is to add increase the pad by a few inches to allow for shrinkage.
Blankets can also make good mattress pads. It should be cut to the size of the mattress and may be used alone or with another cloth on both sides or one side of the mattress. Old quilts, sheer fabrics of different layers, used sleeping bags, curtains panels stacked and sewed together make good mattress pads.

In recent years hand held showers have become more popular but they can break easily due to misuse. Installing hand held shower heads is an easy do-it-yourself process.
First of all to avoid stressing the water pipe coming from the wall, turn off water from the main connection before removing the old shower head. Then remove any thing on the thread and thoroughly clean it.
What you will need is a crescent wrench and Teflon tape. Place the Teflon tape in the clockwise direction since the screw would also go that way on the male end of the plumbing and be sure not to use more than two layers of Teflon. Place the holder for the shower head shower head tightening it first by hand and then by the crescent wrench to ensure a tight fit. Attach the holder to the hose and to the shower head. How well fine furniture shines is determined by how much effort one has put into it. If one has a highly figured burr or even a piece of timber that is likely to use a high quality of shine, this means that the cleaner will have to put the surface into it. The quality of the timber figuring is what determines the kind of shine that is required to be used. There however some species of timber that do not demand too much polishing and therefore they really make work quite easier.
One of such is the ebony, which appears almost like plastic whenever it is intensely polished. A surface that has been highly polished will always appear quite confusing because of the reflection it creates. The reflection can make one not see the surface clearly, because the surface reflects back the image of a person. To curb this one should put marks on the surface. This can be done by putting fine marks on the surface.
